Such a good stay , friendly owners, clean spacious great location not far from York centre would definitely recommend to friends and family also bay horse pub down road does great meals

Stayed a night while dropping our daughter off at her netball camp down the road. Easily accessible and nice clean rooms. Pleasantly quiet considering how close to the main road it is. Would recommend.

Beautiful place and comfortable welcoming cottage. The animals were an extra bonus. Would love to go to a wedding here, such a quirky fun unique venue.

Stayed at no4 for 1 night, simply beautiful! Will be back again! Located on an A road which is about 30mins from York. There's a park n ride nearby also. Definitely a home from home experience. The cottage had everything you expect , cutlery, utensils pots pans, washing machine etc etc. Very chilled atmosphere. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to look around the site.

Stayed in Number 1 The Stables for 2 nights. Lovely spacious cottage with a secure back garden. The cottage next door can look out into the garden but doesn’t affect use. Very well equipped cottage, especially the fire wood provided! Only thing I would say is that it is on a main busy road so can be noisy, but didn’t affect our time there. We have a lovely time :)

LOVED how they redid the stables into rooms! Easy to find & get into York from there. Parking right in front of door is a bonus. Cat is lovey if you see him. Also looks like a nice wedding venue. Definitely will stay again if in the area.

My daughter booked this for a lovely getaway after a stressful few months and it was 100 percent perfect. We stayed here on the 3rd February 2022 The cottage was well equipped, beautifully decorated with good quality furnishings and utensils. The hot tub amazing. The surroundings so picturesque the farm animals were so well looked after. It was lovely to walk around and see them. The staff and family were very friendly and trusting. Also became friends with Bobby the worlds friendliest cat. We can’t wait to go back and will definitely be making this a regularly place to stay. Thank you. 💕

Perfect place to relax as we marked the first anniversary of our mum passing. I had booked the wrong accommodation but this was sorted in a quick text. Love that we could take our dogs and they loved it too! Small touches made a big difference. Will definitely be back

We booked this as we were staying overnight with the kids who were at the festival for the day. When we arrived check in was painless and the cottage was lovely and clean, the decor suits the location perfectly and everything felt luxurious. Everything we could have needed was already in place from cookware to crockery, cutlery, dishcloths, bin bags, white goods, etc. The bed was comfortable and the bedding clean and fresh and made for a very relaxing evening after a fairly long day. The location and property itself was lovely with photo ops and little nooks in several places. The glamping site looked good too although not really my thing with lots of Shetlands, goats, chickens, Llamas and a rather strange looking bird that I couldn't identify. I would definitely recommend staying here and will probably do so again in the future.
